great place, good service!

New review a/o 3/30/15: I gave Bobby's five stars back in 2013 when they did amazing work on my car the first time I met them. I never looked back. I always took my 1996 Infiniti G20 to them when I wanted competent work and trustworthy service. This place is ultra! Last week Bobby did not mince words in telling me that my car had come to end of the line and that it was not worth spending any more money on. I appreciated the honest advice. I've told many people about Bobby's Pit Stop and I've been a loyal customer for several years. If I get a another car, I'll be sure to come here again.

My daughter is a student at UC Santa Cruz, and 400 miles from home. I felt helpless as she was experiencing intermittent loss of power followed by hard starts. I looked up a mechanic shop on-line, read some reviews and hoped for the best as she made an appointment at Bobby's Pit Stop. She took her 2006 Hyundai in for repair. She was treated with respect and courtesy and was listened to as she explained the symptoms. They were honest as they explained how a problem can be difficult to diagnose when it can not be witnessed first hand. The nailed it their first try as it turned out to be a sensor of some sort. She drove away for a fair price, but we still had to wait and see if the problem would return. It has not. Thanks guys for the nice treatment, the quick repair and mostly for a parents piece of mind!

As always, great competent service with clear explanations. I have a 16-year-old car and it is important for me to understand what repairs are age-related.

It's worth noting that you get what you pay for. The prices are a little higher than average, but in exchange you're getting the best diagnostics and repairs available. You only cry Once, when you pay the cost, at Bobby's Pitstop; you'll cry everytime your car problem comes back if you shop Anywhere Else! Get it fixed the first time at Bobby's Pitstop.

As usual, Bobby's did a fine job: reasonably priced and on time delivery.
